Boston Off-Campus Housing

Higher-level universities and colleges have long been the hallmark of the American educational system and none more so than in the Boston area. You don’t have to see Good Will Hunting to know that Boston is a breeding ground for prestigious universities. The northeastern gem that is home to the Red Sox has one of the highest concentrations of colleges and universities in America. It also makes sense that a city steeped in rich colonial history would have some of the best higher learning institutions in the land.

At the top of the list of celebrated universities in the Boston area is Harvard. The perennial all-everything educational institution consistently tops just about everyone’s lists of the finest universities in America. It also doesn’t hurt to have a list of alumni that reads like a who’s who in American politics and Hollywood. John Adams, Teddy Roosevelt, FDR, John F. Kennedy, Al Gore, Tommy Lee Jones, Matt Damon, Natalie Portman, Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg all attended Harvard.

Other extremely distinguished schools in the Boston area include Boston College in Chestnut Hill. The private Jesuit and research-based university is known for its student media, athletics and art history. For a smaller but equally prestigious university visit Brandeis University in Waltham. The school specializes in liberal arts programs like Women’s and Gender Studies, Public Policy and Sustainable International Development.

Of course a key element of the college experience is housing. Oftentimes students turn to off campus housing in the Boston area because on campus options tend to go quickly. The good news is that there are many off campus housing options in Boston for students that feature sizable apartments with luxurious amenities.

The benefits of PC Housing off campus options are immeasurable. Not only do these apartments come furnished, they often feature the same amenities as four-star hotels, such as a swimming pool. These fully equipped living spaces save you on all the trouble that comes with trying to furnish an unfamiliar living space. Long-term temporary housing also provides an equal mix of flexibility and stability in your housing choice.
