Reports say business travel will continue to pile on the miles as corporate travel maintains a steady growth pattern through the end of 2011. This puts corporate housing in San Diego in a position to bolster its already secure position as the best home-away-from-home location when it comes to making life easier for business travelers.

Surveys of corporate travel experts suggest that by the end of 2011, business travelers expect to meet their planned schedules. Most say they will be on the road more often. Only 29 percent of business travelers surveyed failed to go as much as expected when 2010 began. Analysts predicted airline profits of $2.5 billion this year, which is roughly one-third of what 2011 will show, a plus for corporate housing in San Diego.

Most corporate travelers consider the entire hotel experience to be important. Many work in their rooms, using computers or other tools made available. The services provided by San Diego corporate housing facilities include comfort for travelers that aren’t found in most hotels. Airline travel expects more growth in 2011 so corporate housing in San Diego can anticipate a higher number of business travelers.
