So, what does San Diego County and the state of Connecticut have in common? Well, they are almost the same size! Isn’t that wild. I never would have thought that. San Diego County stretches 65 miles from north to south, and 86 miles from east to west, which covers 4,261 square miles. Connecticut covers 5,544 square miles. The city of San Diego is charming, quaint and has an upbeat character, which is why it’s called America’s Finest City.

If you’ve had the luck of coming here on business, you’ll likely be in corporate housing San Diego. If that’s the case, try to stay a few more days and enjoy the San Diego Experience. Here’s a short list of “Things To Do!” while here.

San Diego Padres: PETCO Park is spectacular in every way, combining the best sight lines in baseball with breathtaking views of San Diego. Architecturally magnificent, it celebrates the sea, the sky, the natural beauty, cultural diversity and unique spirit of our region.

SeaWorld San Diego: Be moved by the awe inspiring Shamu®. Ride the mysteries of Atlantis. Go nose-to-bottlenose with our friendliest dolphins. Get a rare up-close look at our gentle beluga whales.

Broadway San Diego: San Diego has a ton of theatre openings. There are two main venues; the Civic Theater and Balboa Theater. So, if you are downtown, in Hotel Circle, or anywhere else in San Diego, you’ll need to check out what’s playing in one of our historic theaters.

San Diego Harbor Excursion: Seeing San Diego from the water is like seeing a jewel sparkle in the sunshine…even at night! I’d fancy a guess that this city was built to be seen from that angle. The Harbor Cruise ship runs every hour on the hour and takes you over to Ferry Landing Marketplace on Coronado Island. The cruise does not take long at all, so you can make it part of your day.

Well, whatever you decide to do here in San Diego, remember that our yearly average high temperature is 71 degrees, the humidity is only 69%, the average yearly rainfall is .78′ and the sun shines 68% of the year. Perfect if you ask me!
